After you have signed your purchase & sale contract, and made arrangements with title/escrow company or attorney to close your transaction, it's time to set up your 1031 exchange.
The easiest, quickest, and least costly way is to go to the "Set Up Your Exchange" button on our website and fill in the requested information. You may want to preview the requested information before you get started, but it's mostly information you already have.
We don't ask for any sensitive information (we don't ask for, or need, credit card or social security information), and we don't share information with anyone outside the escrow.
If you haven't done so already take a few minutes and read our "Exchange Procedure Manual"™ and the "Step by Step" instructions on the website.
When you set up your exchange make sure we have your correct E-mail address. This is how we keep you up to date on the progress of your exchange.
Once your exchange has been processed, and you have received your R.E.I. exchange number, our database information will become available to you through the "Exchange Tracker"™ feature on our website.
We are very fast and efficient, and usually process all necessary documentation the same day we receive information. And we're very careful to make sure that your exchange complies with the strict rules of I.R.C. §1.1031. However we do not control the speed or timing of your exchange, that is done by the closing agent.
So when your ready go ahead, we'll be ready too.
